As a coach of Team Ireland I agree that I will *

Have a clear understanding of the responsibilities of my role
Behave in a positive manner towards all competitors, coaches, team delegates and IMMAF staff
Praise and encourage effort as well as results
Put the welfare of competitors first at all times
Encourage fair play and treat participants equally
Plan and prepare appropriately
Keep a record of attendance where applicable
Keep a record of injury(s) and action taken where applicable
Keep a brief record of problem/action/outcomes, if behavioural problems arise report any concerns in accordance with the IMMAA Code of Ethics in Sport reporting procedures
Encourage cooperation and team spirit
Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow volunteers and coaches
Understand that any decision made by IMMAA coaches and IMMAF officials is final and I will not try to overrule or argue with the coaches or officials
Show respect for other nations, their coaches, competitors, team delegates and national anthems
Respect and adhere to the IMMAF officials and rules
Understand that if I am found to be in breach of any of the rules set out that disciplinary action may be deemed appropriate
Understand that all rules apply from the day of registration to the final day of the medal ceremony
Understand that this is not a holiday, it is an important international sporting tournament and should be treated as such
Abide by the rules of the accommodation
Be contactable at all times and respond and engage with the Team Ireland group messages
Show support for the whole team – not just the members of my affiliated gym or relatives
Be present at each pre-arranged team meeting and weigh-ins
Be willing to supervise activities
Be willing to organise and supervise transportation of athletes
Abide by the accommodation room sharing plans as set by IMMAA
I will remain in my assigned room upon arrival until a negative Covid test result has been returned
Bring any problems/ grievances to the attention of Team Ireland Head Coach Andy Ryan
