The IMMAF Junior and Senior World Championships 2021 will take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from January 24th-29th 2022.
The following team chosen to represent Ireland at this championships tournament were selected by the IMMAA Coaching panel based on the abilities they demonstrated at IMMAA/ IMMAF events throughout 2021.

Also selected for the team, were Stephen Purcell (Senior Male Bantamweight), Lewis Byrne (Senior Male Featherweight), Paddy Moran (Senior Male Lightweight), Ethan Guerin (Senior Male Welterweight) and Daniel O’ Sullivan (Senior Male Middleweight). Unfortunately due to the high number of applications to the tournament in the senior male categories there were not room for all athletes selected in each weight division and so these five athletes are on reserve in the event that a space becomes available in their divisions.
The team will be accompanied to the tournament by the following coaches – Team Ireland Head Coach Andy Ryan, John Kavanagh, Liam-Og Griffin, Marlene Griffin, Arann Maguire, Bobby Meade, Paddy Holohan, Alexander O Sullivan, Sergey Pikulskiy, Gerry Poltorak and Kieran Davern.
