IMMAA are accepting applications for amateur IMMAA athletes interested in competing in the Irish National Championships on February 18th, 19th and 20th at SBG HQ in Dublin.

Fill out the booking form below if you wish to register for the All-Ireland International MMA Championships 2022

This event will decide the National team picked to represent Ireland at the IMMAF World Championships

Any athlete who does not participate in the National Championships will not be eligible to apply for the Irish International team attending the IMMAF Championships in 2022.

There will be a maximum of 8 spots available per weight class, allocated on a first come first served basis.

This event is open to any amateur athletes who are members of an IMMAA affiliated gym and have an up to date IMMAA individual membership.

Dates:

(Please note this event will be fully compliant with covid guidelines and may be subject to change depending on government restrictions)

Quarter finals will be held on February 18th

Semi Finals will be held on February 19th

Finals will be held on February 20th

The entire 3 day tournament will be located at SBG HQ, Unit 13, Goldenbridge Industrial Estate, Tyrconnell Road, Dublin 8, D08 KW22.

This event will not be open to spectators. A live PPV stream will be available online. Athletes must come accompanied by one coach from an IMMAA gym only, or a maximum of two coaches where multiple athletes from the same gym are participating.

Registration deadlines: Registration fee of 150euro available until January 30th 2022. Late registration fee of 200euro available from January 31st – February 6th 2022. No registrations will be accepted after February 6th 2022.

All athletes wishing to participate in this tournament must…

  1. Be a member of an IMMAA affiliated gym (A full list of IMMAA gyms can be found here https://mmaireland.ie/immaa-club-listing/ )
  2. Have an up to date IMMAA individual membership (Which can be purchased here https://mmaireland.ie/individual-membership/ )
  3. Receive full medical clearance in accordance with SafeMMA including a once-off MRI, full medical examination and blood reports within 12 months. All completed medicals must be sent to immaa@safemma.org and must be green lit by SafeMMA before February 11th 2022.

Failure to submit the relevant medical forms will result in disqualification from the tournament.
